Panchayat web series has been very successful for two seasons. The two-year-awaited third season is now available for streaming on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform today (May 28). The series opens with the happenings in Fulera village. And, whether this third season has repeated the magic of the two seasons, find out in this review whether it is impressive.

Panchayat 3 story
The second season of Panchayat ended with the death of Prahlad's (Faisal Malik) son and the transfer of the main character, Panchayat Secretary (Sachiv) Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar) from Phulera. Now the third season starts with a new person joining as Phulera's new secretary. However, some villagers including Sarpanch Manju Devi (Neena Gupta), her husband Brij Bhushan Dubey (Raghuveer Yadav) and Prahlad oppose the new secretary. Abhishek Tripathi will be brought back as secretary to Phulera again. Due to this, the differences between MLA Chandrakishore Singh (Prakash Jha) and the people of Phulera, including Dubey, will increase. MLA goes to jail in a case. Abhishek will resume his duties as Secretary at Phulera. Love continues with Rinki (Sanvika). He also prepares for MBA. However, politics begins in Phulera when Abhishek grants an old woman a house under the Prime Minister's Garib Awas Yojana. Some are even more so with consequences. As Sarpanch elections are approaching, Phulera resident Bhushan (Durgesh Kumar) joins hands with MLA to form a group against Manju Devi and Brij Bhushan. This gives momentum to politics. After that, how the politics went on in Phulera village and what happened will be in this third season.

Politics, Emotions
In the third season of Panchayat, the makers have succeeded in showing the politics in the rural areas and the functioning of the local authorities better. Writer Chandan Kumar and director Deepak Kumar Mishra have managed to show the emotions as well as the politics in this season. This season will make you emotional in many places. Some scenes are touching.

It was impressive in the first episode that everyone sent back the new secretary who came to Phulera. Abhishek returns to the village as secretary and everything goes smoothly. However, an old woman's efforts to get a house under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Awas Yojana are laughable and impressive. This tussle also ends up being emotional. After that, Bhushan joins hands with the MLA and tries to get the Sarpanch in trouble. Bhushan's ideas to create a rift in the village by saying East and West are also interesting. Sarpanch's husband Brij Bhushan tries to maintain his grip on the village. All in all, this politics is going to be interesting. The plot where the pigeon dies at the hands of MLA is also suspenseful. At the end, the clash between the MLA and the villagers seems a bit confusing.

All roles are preferred
Although Panchayat Secretary Abhishek Tripathi is the main character. Those characters mostly drive the story forward. This season is different in this respect. Bhushan's role will also be main.

Low comedy, high emotions
Compared to the previous two seasons, the comedy in the third season of Panchayat has decreased a bit. Mostly revolves around politics. Most of it is serious. Even if there is comedy here and there.. Lost is less than two seasons. However, it seems that the writer and director focused more on emotions in the third season. The character of Prahlad who lost his soldier son is also emotional. His words to the old woman bring tears.

Stretched here and there..
This season feels like a stretch here and there. Punches were not seen much in the dialogues. There is a feeling that it would be better if some scenes were edited and the length reduced.

Ready for the fourth season
The makers made it clear at the end of the third season that Panchayat elections will be the main focus of the fourth season of Panchayat. It looks like the next season will be entirely about politics as the clash between the MLA and the Phulera villagers escalates. That's why there will be good hype for the fourth season as well

Who did it?
Jitendra Kumar once again impresses with his performance as Abhishek Tripathi, Phulera's secretary. Naina Gupta as Manju Devi and Raghuveer Yadav as Brij Bhushan also acted brilliantly. Sanvika is beautiful and
